Accountant plays the important role in new systems acquisition as he is the major user of the computer and also responsible for the internal control for Processing of all the data's in the organisation. His roles includes of cost estimation and analysis. He can be designer of many of the systems that the computer is intended to supplant.
Since Accountant has important role to play so he should work as a team with the technical experts so that all his expectations and requirements is met.
Accountant's role is probably best carried out by participating on a team or committee together with computer experts, systems analysts, production personnel, engineers, managers, and others whose functions are closely related to the information systems activity.
