1) In 3 -hr glucose tolerance test of 26 week pregnant woman , the fasting glucose level is 92mg/dL that is almost  normal which is 95mg/dL in fasting.

1-hr 193mg/dL , this is higher than the normal value 180mg/dL.

2-hr glucose level is 162mg/dL, which is slightly higher than normal glucose rate 155mg/dL.

3-hr glucose level is 138mg/dL , which is almost normal under the normal values 140 mg/dL.

Therefore, the 1-hr and 2-hr glocuse level is higher than the normal, that could be shows the gestational dibetes.

2) The effect of these glucose values of mother which shows the gestational dibetes symptoms on fetus is severe , the fetua or babies of these mothers have higher chances of developing type 2 dibetes or have higher chance of obesity later in the life. Sometimes , untreated or severe gestational dibetes leads to death of fetus before birth or just after birth.

The risk of premature dilevery is higher in if the  gestational dibetes is greater.

3) The management for the patients suffering from dibetes and specially gestational dibetes are;

  • Follow the hrealthy diet plan that is very impotant in managing the gestational dibetes.
  • exercise is also help in managing the glucose levels by raising the breathing or heart rate and reduce the insuline resistance
