Question
Transcription is the process of passing genetic information from DNA to RNA. There are many proteins involved in the transcription. These proteins are:
I. Transcription factor proteins: these proteins help RNA polymerase to bind to the promoter site of the DNA and help in the elongation and termination of transcription too.
II. Activator proteins: these proteins bind to the enhancer sequence in the DNA and activate the process of transcription
III. Repressor protein : these protein decrease the rate of transcription or stop the process of transcription.
