Discuss some communication challenges that can arise when dealing with stakeholder expectations of a project. What is the purpose of a project communications plan?

Puposes of Project communication plan - is an approach to provide the stakeholders the specific information needed . It ensures that who should be provided the specific information ,when the information should be provided ,what information should be provided and what communication channels must used to convey the message.

Some of the communication challenges that arise when dealing with stakeholders expectations of a project are :-

- Language barrier - poor understanding of language makes it difficult to convey the message.

- Surronding Environmental condition- like noisy environment makes it difficult to convey the message.

- poor selection of the communication tools- channel used during communication should be analysed before to avoid unnecessary delay in communication.

- clear , specific and in a simple way information must be communicated because some times huge complicated messages cause chaos and misunderstanding.

- perception barrier - how the other side person perceives the message has a important affect on the whole communication.

- physical barrier - if the person have any physical deformity like hearing problem or difficulty in speaking then the communication is affected.

Cultural barriers are there which hinder the communication process because of there taboos and other practices messages are not conveyed properly.
