Important teaching points for patients

  1. Educate the patient about the side effects of the medication like throbbing headache, flushed face. The patient can have ,Dizziness as well as Lightheadedness that is as a result of the low blood pressure
  2. As the patient not to take sildenafil (Viagra) as interaction can occur
  3. if Hypersensitivity occur then nitrates has to be avoided
  4. If the patient is having Hypotensive conditions then Mediation should be avoided
  5. Alcohol should be avoided that is to enhance the vasodilation effect of the medication
  6. The medication should be taken as directed every day
  7. The patient should take Medical care if side Effects because severe
