1960's can be considered as one of the most crucial period in the US history.This period has bought huge changes in the economy and lifestyle.Major changes took place in political,social and cultural fields during 1960's.It was significant for political reasons than social/cultural reasons.Culture took a deviation and new methods,traditions were practised.People started liking the modern culture and adopted western version of culture.Modern ways of clothing and interests are witnessed during 1960's and from then news trends started in clothing,dancing,etc.Most of the stereotypes were broken during this period.People started getting educated from this period and started seeking medical care.But 1960's was even more significant for political reasons as politics and ruling was entirely changed.Till then people faced alot due to inefficient rules and ruling systems.From 1960's,people revolted against politics and ruling systems as there was domination over societies.People started various movements against political system.Rules,law and jurisdiction has been revised and people fought for gender equality,right to vote,etc.Then even major events took place in politics.Elections were held in 1960's and people were blown out with election results.US fought back for treating citizens like slaves and political system was changed.The political system,leaders,politics was in complete controversies and even people were worried about the future of country and revolted with wars,movements,etc.The change in political system of United States inspired many other countries and revolution took place in political systems of the countries.Change in social/cultural reasons of US has not affected remaining coutries but political changes affected alot.Therefore,1960's was more significant for political reasons than social/cultural reasons.Major and vital events took place during this period which triggered the politics of United States and 1960's has been market as crucial phase for political system.
