Discuss current research that links patient safety outcomes to ADN and BSN nurses. Based on some real-life experiences, do you agree or disagree with this research?
As per the primary information the BSN is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and the ADN is an Associates Degree in Nursing. Both degrees are required for the RN. The candidates having such degrees are supposed to have sound knowledge of the nursing care in the health care organization.
The current research states that there is close relation of the patient safety outcomes to ADN and BSN nurses as it is well known that the quality of patient care totally depends on pattern of well educated nursing workforce in the healthcare organizations. Furthermore the researches reveal that there are lower mortality rates and fewer medication errors along with the more positive outcomes, due to the linking ADN and BSN nursing practices.
Moreover in my opinion of the AND and BSN nurses are more committed toward working collaboratively to develop a more highly qualified nursing workforce as the education enhances theeir clinical competency and care delivery capability.
Hence it is proved that the current research that links patient safety outcomes to ADN and BSN nurses are capable to make a more effective nursing care therapy.
