Temperament has been found to have a significant correlation between anxiety disorders. It has been found based in research children who have a shy it nervous temperament are more likely to develop anxiety disorders in their later life . Sanguine and phlegmatic temperament on the other hand is related to reduced risk of acquiring anxiety disorders in the case if comparitive and retrospective studies. Choleric temperament is at high risk and more vulnerable to anxiety disorders.
