What role does political affiliation play in judicial decisions?
Any kind of affiliation affects one’s decision making and forces one to take sides. Especially in the judicial sector, the winning parties appoint judges who are affiliated or support their parties. In turn the judges are very lenient and support the decisions of the government. Although, judicial system is considered to be the highest system in a country, it’s the legislatures who appoint them, so the connection is very obvious. If someone do not support the decisions of the government, one would be either transferred or sacked. So, it’s evident that the political affiliations of the judges do affect their decisions and judgments.
