• Maintainace of uniformity in the work
• Universal understanding of the concept or the information delivered
• Can be helpful to keep things in confidential way when information is exchanged in the presence of a non medical professional, but limited only to an extent.
• Errors can be minimized or avoided
• Time saving

The disadvantages if it are

• Difficult to interpret when the healthcare professional is unaware of it or having lack of knowledge regarding the terminology
• Errors are possible when mentioned in wrong wave or with spelling mistakes, etc.,

It can integrate knowledge into clinical routine by enabling everyone to use it and maintain a high standard of care in very time limited manner.It can improve the quality of service to patients also improve the communication process between the healthcare professionals.
