The roles of logistics management information systems play in the health care delivery system are

This system helps to record and report the number of facilities or materials used for the treatment of the patients to acknowledge the stock of the health care organization.

2. data regarding Consumption

It gives a data regarding the consumption of the facilities and material used for the treatment process. This helps in proper planning for purchasing new items.

3. Act as Inventory control

It helps in identifying the items used and replace back and appropriate items in stock. This data can be used to identify any shortage of items and buy the shortage item. This helps to prevent a shortage of items for future use.

4.Receiving business process

This system gives proper data regarding the accepted items or rejected items from the supplier. The accepted items are kept in the store and rejected items are stored for deposition. All information is maintained by a logistic health information system.

5. Dispatch items process

This gives information about the supply given to the lower level health care delivery system. this helps to maintain accurate items to transfer in the correct storage items for transportation.

This helps to give data regarding the more demand items in the organization. Base on this data, the organization can plan to prevent shortage of it by more stock of the items.

These systems also provide data regarding the price of each item. This helps to plan the money needed to buy or price for use of it by the patient.
