A) Gosplan: It was the State planning committee of the erstwhile soviet union. Agency reponsible for the central economic planning. Marxism recognises the primary role of industrial working class and transition to a communist society. The abolotion of private property and crony capitalism. Gosplan was created in 1923 to coordinate the economic plans of the Soviet republics and to work out a general USSR plan. Gosplan helped USSR to to turn to an industrial state from primarily agricultural state.
B) Democratic Centralism: Mainly associated with Leninism it is a process where major political decision are reached by voting process. It combines central leadership with local initiative and responsibility of each state authority and official for the work entrusted to them.
C) The NEP: It represents a more market oriented economic policy. Lenin introduced NEP to revive the economy. The significance of the policy was the return of limited capitalism and a departure from state based development and comminism. This helped USSR recover from the civil war in economic front. It introduced the concept of liberalisation, privatisation and globalisation with more participation in global supply chain.
