For this assignment I want you to construct your own care plan. Look ahead in the book and choose a diagnosis- example juvenile diabetes. Then I want you to give me background on your patient- make one up. Example : an 8 year old presents in your ER with a glucose of 700 and is newly diagnosed with diabetes type 1. After that develop your care plan. It should include 3 nursing diagnosis with all the fixings * . Tell me what you are going to monitor- the actions and goals etc. Remember to make your care plans age appropriate!! These are not 80 year olds with diabetes they are 8. Make your goals and teaching measurable for them.
