What is the differentiate between internal and external benchmark comparisons?

Benchmarking:- is an important tool for identifying the performance of peers and entities by creating ranking results.
Internal benchmarking:- is used to observe the performance of peers working in an organisation. It leads to exchange of best practices within the colleagues in an organisation.It is mainly based on mutual and collaborative concepts which improves the efficiency of an organisation from ground level giving a good foundation .It highly improves patient satisfaction .
External benchmarking :- is used to observe performance among different entities or organisations. It usually brings changes in statistical and organisational data by comparing efficiency results and functional results. It even compares merit results and experimental results of an organisation with other organisations thus initiating the efforts for upgrading and branding of an organisation.
Data types:- a particular kind of data item defined by value it can take by a programming language.
The various types are:-
Integer marked by a whole number. Can have a positive or negative value but no decimal.
Float:- a floating point can hold real numbers like 2.67 etc the size of float is 4 bytes .
Double :- a double precision by floating point value . If the size of float is 4bytes then the size of double will be 8bytes.
Character:- a single character.
Void:- valueless as special purpose type.
