Organisations may exercise social responsibility in different ways in order to bolster their image and to build its brand values. It helps them to connect with their customers who in turn remain loyal to the brand as the organization is doing something that is close to their heart or that is what they believe in. It makes the customer feel that they are participating indirectly in supporting the cause that they believe in, by buying the products and services of the brand that are fighting or supporting monetarily for that cause by contributing certain percentage of their profit or otherwise.

Below are the way by which organisations exercise their social responsibility :

1) Climate change : By being environmental friendly and by following sustainable ways of doing business. Examples : biodegradable packaging, sourcing raw materials without extreme exploitation of nature or in a sustainable way.

2) Health : By using quality or organic raw materials to produce products and services which doesn't harm their customer's health.

3) By supporting Gender equality: Equal pay for equal work irrespective of gender. Equal employment opportunity to female candidates.

4) By providing employment to OR by fighting for the rights of LGBTQ community.
