So i was basically filling out a physical activity questionnaire known as (ACSM Risk Stratification) or also known as PAR-Q+

Question: The professor is asking me find another form of pre-particpation/health screening or risk stratification online and "explain the assessment" Cite your source using APA or AMA citation format.

The explanation of the assessment does not necessarily have to be a page length. One paragraph or two will do :)

Physical activity has various benefits but it is also associated with many risks like acute muscular or skeleton injuries or cardiac arrest due to vigorous exercise. So the risk assessment is necessary for evaluating individuals risk for adverse exercise related events and suggesting appropiate measures to reduce their potential occurence.

Risk assessment serves many purposes like

  • Individuals identification for exclusion (if diseased) until they are fully recovered.
  • performance of diseased individual under medical supervision, etc.

This assessment involves two major steps,

  • Preparticipation survey: Preparticipation screening involves the screening of individuals for any suspected risk. it can be done under self supervision or professionally guided screening by trained personnels. Self guided survey are effective for analysis of individual to medical benefit whereas for advanced processes professionally guided screening is recommended
  • Risk stratification: After screening process, appropiate risk stratification measures are adopted under different category classifications as,
  1. low risk
  2. moderate risk
  3. high risk

Once the risk category is assigned other necessities as,

  • medical examinations and clearence
  • exercise test before starting activity
  • physician supervision in exercise test

are recommended. Different risk assessments can be made based on different categories for the good of performer.

Hi, so basically I had a tutorial today about the social media industry is highly monopolistic with Facebook, users provide Facebook (and 3rd-party companies) with huge amounts of data in exchange for access to the platform. provides Facebook’s algorithms with a clear picture of your preferences or demand for certain goods/services. Technological underperformance is a welfare cost associated with monopolies. For companies such as Facebook, innovation would be minimal due to lack of competition. There are many people argue that...

I:15 62 A client, Mal Manley, fills out his client questionnaire for the previous year and on it provides information for the preparation of his individual income tax return. The IRS has never audited Mal’s returns. Mal reports that he made over 100 relatively small cash contributions totaling $24,785 to charitable organizations. In the last few years, Mal’s charitable contributions have averaged about $15,000 per year. For the previous year, Mal’s adjusted gross income was roughly $350,000, about a 10%...

Class, we all know that physical activity is important, so why aren't we all doing it? Why do we not meet the recommendations of 30 minutes per day most days of the week? What are some of the hinderances to meeting these goals? How can we get past these? So I was looking out the sky one day and I wondered how I would go about calculating how much water was contained in a cloud. I figured the following simple outline 1) We need to roughly know how big it is. We'll also be figuring out how high the cloud is. Use some sort of geometric method? Triangles? 2) We need to relate its color to its density. (Darker clouds more dense) (White fluffy clouds less dense) 3) Correction...
