Resoiratory tract are the place for most of the infectious disease because of it had direct contact with expernal air or environmnet so easily become infected.

Respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette are important aspect in which avoiding the respiratory tract infections. There are many ways and interventions for maintaining the respiratory hygiene. Cough is a reflex which also a common body reflex against the microorganisms and infections presented in the respiratory system.

Wearing of face mask and personal protective equipments to avoid the enterence of microorganisms through the air that we inspired. This will help to avoid the entrance of infective aganst and we can maintain the hygiene of respiratory tract.

Coughing help to excrete out the accumulated secretions and it wil prevent the progress of infection to other body parts.

Stressing hand hygiene after come in contact with respiratory secretions. It will avoid the spread of infectious secretions.

Early detection of diseases and taking appropriate treatment for the disease.

Isolation of patient who show respiratory symptoms, it will help in avoiding the spread of infection from on person to another.

Proper identification of disease and taking appropriate percusions as per the protocol.
