Health is important for all to stay active.Illness is widely prevalent when the normal status of the individual is altered.Some of the most common medical problems which would be treated in hospital are infection, obesity, endocrine disorders like diabetes,etc., hypertension, obesity ,abuse,asthma,mental health conditions,etc., to make a few.

For instance a patient is admitted in the medical ward with complaints of severe dyspnea. The nurse takes the admission and informs the concerned duty doctor to take medical admission under a primary provider. The medical orders are carried out by the nurse. A proper nursing care plan is made to provide appropriate care and evaluate the patient status. Once the patient is treated and recovered from the symptoms the discharge is ordered by the provider followed by the nurse in completing the discharge formalities with appropriate health education in regards to the follow up and management of the condition in home.
