Answer: Preconception care is defined as a set of interventions that aim to identify and modify biomedical, behavioral and social risks to the woman's health or pregnancy outcome through prevention and management. Certain steps should be taken before conception or early in pregnancy to maximize health outcomes. Preconception health is a woman's health before she becomes pregnant. It means knowing how health conditions and risk factors could affect a woman or her unborn baby if she becomes pregnant. Some health problems, such as diabetes, also can affect pregnancy.

Changing the life style will affect both of them as they smoke, which causes infertility. By quitting smoking the chances of conception will increase. Intake of citrus fruits will help Linda to get lots of vitamins which enhances the chances of pregnancy.

Obesity causes many problems such as diabetes, heart diseases etc. and also create a problem in conception. Losing weight may result into fast conception and healthy delivery. There is lots of need of folic acid as well plenty of food and green vegetables..
