Burnout:it is a syndrome characterized ny emotional exhaustion that results in depersonalization and decreased personal accomplishment at work the emotionally exhausted clinician is overwhelmed by work to the point of feeling fatigued unable to face the demands of the job and unable to engage with others, the healthcare professsionals who are burned out may develop a sense of cynical detachment from work and view people especially patients as objects, the fatigues exhaustion and detachment coalesce such that clinicians no longer feel effective at work because they have lost a sense of their ability to contribute meaningfully by this growing burnout syndrome among healath care personnel has gained attention as a potential threat to health care quality and patient safety, the burnout in the healthcare professional is related to the patient safety is driven by both a lack of motivation or energy and impaired cognitive function and the exhauseted healthcare professionals that emotionally exhausted curtail perforamnce to focus on only the most necessary and pressing tasks and the burnedout has impaired attention, memory, and executive function that decrease their recall and attention to details by all these the patient at higher risks for errors and also can develop negative attitudes towards patients and poor communications and loss of pertinent inforrmation for decision making and by all these the healthcare professionals have impaired capacity to deal with the dynamic and technically and quality and safety of healthcare.
