Determine the trial central line and control limits for the and S (24 points).
I have used minitab for plotting R and S chart .
Steps for plotting R chart :
1) Open worksheet file containing the data.
2) Stat -> select Control Charts -> Variable Charts for subgroups-> R chart -> ok.
Choose the option, " Observations for a subgroup are in one row of columns.
Select X1-X5 -> ok.
Steps for plotting S chart ,
1) Select Stat -> Control Charts-> Variable Charts for Subgroups -> S chart -> ok
