In your own words, how would you define the term “health”? What do you believe are some strategies to improve someone’s health? Explain your response.
Health definition:
According to the World Health organizabon (WHO) health can be defined as a complete state of physical, mental and Social well-being, and not only the absence of illness or disease. The definiton laid focus on three components of health that ls physical, mental and social well-being and even if a person is physically healthy, he or she can still be lacaking in other categories.
Yes some health strategies can improve your personal health. For example….
1. Brushing and Bathing: Brushing teeth after evey meal or brushing teeth twice a day minimizes the accumulation of bacteria in your mouth, which can cause tooth decay and gum diseases. Bathing evey day keeps the skin fresh by removing dust and harmful organisms present on the skin.
2. Trimming nails and hair: Trimming nails prevent problems like infected nail beds and whereas trimming hair remove split ends and hair damage, which will make hair appear to grow faster because the hair will break less and, thus, grow longer in a shorter amount of time.
3. Sleeping: Sleeping 8 to 10 hours at night keeps the mind refresh, enhances immune response and feel energetic all the day, whereas lack of sleep can leave you feeling run down due to tiredness.
