Duties of a Chief Financial Officer- CFO has a whole team and he performs some duties himself and gets some work done through his subordinates and team members. His duties are as following:

  1. His duty is to see and analyze the financial statements and reports time to time.
  2. His duty is to present the key financial statements, i.e. Balance sheet, Income statement and Cash flows to the stakeholders.
  3. His duty is to see the cash management.
  4. His duty is to manage and minimize the financial risk with his team.
  5. He makes the company's financial policies along with other key managers.
  6. He also develops tax strategies
  7. He takes care of the employee's monetary benefit plan and also the cost minimization strategies.
  8. He takes the capital budgeting and investment decisions.
  9. He maintains good relationship with banks and financers.
  10. He makes company's future financial plans
