Type of leadership and culture required
- There are two types of cultural norms
One is low cost producer strategy
the other is student focussed strategy
- The low cost strategy obviously reduces the
cost
- The customer oriented strategy deals with the
encouraging deep student knowledge and making student speific
materials
- Its upto the leader to make a decision of
choice
- The leaders should lead in the way with new value
proposition and he should be able to take necessary action to make
the cultural norms strong.
- Consider an example as when a comapny changes from low
cost strategy to customer orieted, its upto the leadership team to
make up new system to mentally promote it amoung
others
Which organizational practices are required to reinforce
the organizational intent in universities
- The cultural values are highly fed into practices that
deal with how they work
- WHen a new startegy is taken part, they will take a
look at those pratices to ensure the performances and metrices that
list out the success and failure
- They also determine the type of people to be
recruited
- The determination of training of these recruited people
are also sorted out
- The leaders should choose a trusty organisational
design and determine how to make use of it
