Primary care offices are struggling to meet the health care needs of the patient. Individual play different roles in primary care settings. Workflow analysis is very effective in the coordination of teamwork in primary care settings. Workflow analysis through the tracking of the patient visit, analyzing of resources, coordination of team members, and documentation of work. Analysis of driving forces, the demand for primary care, staff limitation, training, support, and future development and needs of primary care settings are analysed and operational workforce are changed according to the needs of the patient. This workflow analysis is done periodically to evaluate the primary care settings. It improves the communication between the healthcare team members. It deals with the key issues in the structure, function, and financial barriers of the primary care. It needs a systemic approach to problem identification, root cause analysis of an anticipated problem in primary care settings. Therefore, applying of workflow analysis in the primary care improves the patient care.
