Pressures or issues children/adolescents with same-sex parents faces as opposed to those whose parents are heterosexual are below:
1) Social Pressure: This is the most dominating and the always ongoing pressure faced by the children of homosexual parents.
2) Acceptance in the family and relatives: At times, families deny to accept such parents, and their children, then such children losses the presence of grandparent's love/guidance and that of other relatives.
3) Lack of feelings: Children who were deprived of maternal care during extended periods in their early lives “lacked feeling, had superficial relationships, and exhibited hostile or antisocial tendencies” as they developed into adulthood.
4) Fear of safety : Children which are unable to gain the love of a father faces issues of safety as father's presence in the home protects a child from fear and strengthens a child's ability to feel safe.
