How can “medical lingo” in mHealth enlighten patients to take charge of their health and increase self-management? Medical lingo is referring to is a very important concept called health literacy. How can health literacy impacts the adoption of mHealth?

• Medical lingo means the medical terms or medical language :
The jargons used by medical team.
For example - acute ( means a condition that comes suddenly )
• mHealth -Mobile digital Health information technology.
Now a days mHealth has become a major health communication channel for delivering health care, promoting health and changing health behavior.
* Medical lingos are used to accurately describe the condition of the patient and treatment that they need to undergo.
* By using common words and phrases instead of complex medical terms gives better understanding and helps patient to improve their health and increase self management.
* Use simple and understandable languages for audios and videos motivates patients to practice healthy behaviors.
** HEALTH LITERACY - It is the ability of participants with in the health care system to accurately interpret and utilize relevant health information and resources to achieve their health goals.
• Health literary is one of the major communication issue related to the effective use of mHealth. Evidences suggest that many people have limited levels of health literacy to adequately understand mHealth applications which makes them difficult to utilize such facilities.
