Trends in Aviation sectors are –
1.Airlines trying to build “social “pace to create brand
equity.
2.The use of artificial intelligence in aviation. Other
technological development includes digital inflight shopping
solutions, heads-up displays etc.
3.Airports are providing location-based services for
non-aeronautical revenues for airports.
4.The evolution of self-operation means passengers will perform all
services from check-in to boarding on their own.
5.Integrated systems allows airports to use standardized platforms
which seamlessly connect with other third-party applications.
Airport CSR activities include –

airports are designed in ways that have a sustainable
ecosystem.
2.Airports are hiring temporary staff from the local,
underprivileged communities from nearby areas.
3.Airports are increasingly switching to renewable resources like
harnessing of solar energy through solar panels
The Oslo Airport, Norway has focused on eco-friendly initiatives. The airport launched an expansion of 377296 sq. Feet of its terminal with energy efficient designs. Usage of recycled and natural material is the focus of this airport. For example, use of reused steels and environment friendly concrete mixed with volcanic ash. Again, the snow is taken from in and around the airport and stored to be used as coolant in summer. Technologically also, the airport is using latest modern means for efficient operations.
