What is the etiological agent and the main manifestations of cholera?
Cholera is pathogenic bacteria born disease. This disease is caused by the bacteria that is know as
Vibrio cholera. Generally this disease is caused by the consumption of contaminated food or water.
There are some common causative agents that leads to cholera:
Vibrio cholera organism rapidly grown in the intestinal environment and produce toxin that leads to diarrhea, vomiting and this lead to severe dehydration. If this condition is not treated well than it leads to death.
Generally cholera or sewage mediated infection leads to below mentioned symptoms
These are the common manifestations of cholera.
