As we look back on the policies of FDR's New Deal, keep in mind the necessity at that time of implementing what many would call drastic measures in order to kick start the economy and restore confidence in American society. Critics of Roosevelt's policies claim that he destroyed the fabric of democracy and capitalism in America. Supporters believed he saved democracy and capitalism in America. What do you think? What were the benefits and drawbacks of Roosevelt's NEW DEAL? In addition, address the longterm effects of those policies that are still in existence today. New deal is a set policies which wes implemented Roosevelt in the year 1932 to control and guide the U.S economy.
The main advatages if the New Deal policy was that there was an increase in rate of employement.Many unemployed get jobs by the implementation of the New Deal Policy.This policy also helps the poor people to get food and shelter which they were not able to afford by themselves.The whole economy of America was put to the front foot .If this deal was not implemented then America would have faced more poor situations of economic crises.The industrial development was also focused after the implementation of this deal.
The major disadvantage of the New Deal policy was the prices.This deal was very expensive.The control was in the had of government and hence it was not democratic.The most hampered poeple were the farmers as they do not like the regulations imposed upon them.They were not set free from the regulations imposed by the new deal policy. The discrimination regarding the colour(White American and Black American) was made huge.The black American were not getting any king of benefit after the implementaion of the new deal policy.
The critics were right that Roosevelt's policies claim that he destroyed the fabric of democracy and capitalism in America because of the above mentioned drawbacks of the New Deal Policy.
The new deal policy was not able to cope up wiht the deression period.The policies was lacking many of the key highlights.As the unemployement remained an issue.This was copes up during the second world war.
The long term effects of those policies that are still in existence today. Like the goverment still has an important role in the period of economic crisis.
The U.S President has a lot of power in his hands which was implement by Roosevelt's during the implementation of New Deal Policy.
The citizens have faith in the govevernment for there security.
These all are a good impact of the New Deal .
