how, would you answer this question? is there a difference between a game and a lie? Why? Explain and give reasons? (at least 1 full paragraph)
A lie is based on the simple premise of retelling of objective facts with a spin on it, that changes the meaning, and , hence, the interpretation of the given facts. Also, the primary motive behind a Lie, at the end of the day, is to deceive a given group or individual.
A game whilst can be ignorantly categorized as a lie, it isn't and shouldn't. A game is a creation of an alternate reality (even universe), which constitutes its own set of unique rules and regulations (norms). A person, when playing a game is expected to adhere to these aforementioned set of principles as opposed to the real life principles of ones actually reality. That is, the virtual set of rules hold no power in the real world, and the real set of rules hold no power over the virtual world.
In fact, straying away from the norms of a given particular game would constitute as a lie (most common term used synonymously to 'lie' in games would be 'cheating'), contextually, in that given place (alternate reality/universe), moment, and time.
