Conflict perspective can be used the batter to understand prejudice in the society as it is social problem and seen from the interaction among different class of society. Conflict perspective based on the lass differential in terms of power, resources and interest. Thses factors leads to the conflict of interest and competing with each other. Each class strugle for themselve and ignoring other class interest. They think their interet and goal should be fulfil first. Since prejudice always prevails in the society, it has a historical context. conflict perspective can be traced to the classic works of Karl Marx who argued that all societies go through stages of economic development. And as society evovlve, class interst changed, like from agricultural to industrial, survival needs is replaced by concern over making a profit. Which leads to the creation of two classes, bourgeoisie, or the owners of the means of production (e.g., factories, farms, businesses); and the proletariat, or the workers who earn wages. the bourgeoisie have the power to control the institutions of society and prejudice againts worker class. therefore achieving own goal without caring others interst leads to prejudice in the society. This also happens due to control of the social institution by ane set of the class which have more power.
