Clinical guidelines are statements that include recommendations intended to optimize patient care. They are informed by the systemic review of evidence and assessment of the benefits and harm of alternative care.
They are important because it gives a doctor to follow a protocol that how things should work.
Guidelines are not biased, they are same for patients as well as doctors.
It manages the health care and if they are followed the license of the doctor will be terminated.
Guidelines are published data so patients also know how they should be treated and if there are any malfunctioning in that then the patient can complaint further.
