Identify a country that currently has placed under economic embargoes or some type of political or economic sanctions - What kind of sanctions are they? Describe what human rights abuses are going on in that country. Answer- Now a days In the world not only war can decide that who will win or who will loose there are various economical and political transparency that can approximately tell us that who is leading with their good ethics. So sanction is one of restrictions that imposed by as the application of penalties targeted towards one or more countries by another country, individual or group. A sanction can be imposed for disobeying laws or rules and is often used as punishment or disciplinary action to bring about a change. Sanction is interesting linguistically as it is an auto-antonym, which means that it has multiple meanings, one of which is the opposite of the other. Indeed, sanction can also be used to mean receiving official approval or permission for an action.
As one of the nations that former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton named as "beyond the axis of evil," Syria has had contentious relations with the United States because of its position as a sponsor of terrorism.16
As a result, the U.S. has strong trade restrictions on the country, barring major exports as well as financial services for individuals or organizations linked to terror. The measures in the standard of living versus the quality of life may seem similar, but the reality is an issue of qualitative versus quantitative.

Not all of the U.S.'s economic sanctions are against entire countries. Some are against specific individuals or entities. Generally, these sanctions focus on political groups or organizations that promote violence or social unrest, instead of the country's official government—though they can target government or military officials.
With the demise of Ghaddaffi, world attention shifted to Syria, especially as it concerns intervention to put a stop to the protracted killings and the human rights violations as a result of the heavy clamp down on citizens by the Assad regime. However, the inability of the international community to effectively respond to the Syria crisis through the UN and NGO's , world leaders need to agree on a common ground for the protection of civilians through a strict monitoring and evaluation of the intervention process and the actors involved, enforcing an arms embargo, and committing to support local cease fires.
Democracy is a universal value based on the freely expressed will of people to determine their own political, economic, social and cultural systems and their full participation in all aspects of their lives and stressed that democracy, development and respect for all human rights and fundamental freedoms are interdependent and mutually reinforcing. And if this will be not happening in a country sanction is the only fair hand restriction.
