The world are going through hard times due to coronavirus. Shops, restaurants, and many businesses have been greatly affected as well.
1- What has happened to the traditional forms of marketing and to the Digital and social media form of Marketing?
2-by logic what would your advice to those businesses on the use of traditional and digital and social of Marketing?

Everything has stopped and shut down because of this pandemic. Due to coronavirus nobody is able to step out of their house and purchase anything from the market as everything is closed. There is decrease in traditional form of marketing because no one is able to step outside their houses that is why no company wants to waste their money on ads like billboards, pamphlates. Also, there is no sale of any luxury or materialistic products. Many events got cancelled and sponsorship deals has also cut, which is resulting in decline of TV ad.

There is a little increase in Digital and Social Media form of marketing because people are spending most of their time on social media. Some companys are taking full advantage of this time like games. People are developing new games so that people can install it and run it. There is decrease in ad of luxury and non-necessities item because people will not be able to buy it. There is a decrease in youtube ad, as a results creators are not getting enough payment. There are no collaboration or sponsorship too.

According to me,The best form of marketing is when you grab the opportunity in the bad times to help the consumers. As, it will create agood impression on the consumers and they wuill remeber you. Busines should make their bond stronger with the consumers by giving them love and care. They should give support by creating the message that we all will get through this tough time. They should put innovative ads while keeping this pandemic in mind. This will make an impression of the brand on the consumers mind that these brands were there with us and will create a Goodwill too. They can also remind them about washing their hands or about social distancing which will help in flattening the curve. Businesses who use traditional marketing can switch to digital marketing to make an impression of their brand. This time the price of advertisements are also low, this will be helpful for the traditional marketing. The company's should use their social accounts to connect with their consumers. It will increase the chance to remebering your name by the people who have never used your product. They can also improve site's SEO.

If nothing is working for any business, then they should utilise their time by developing new idea or some future projects. Plan your fututre marketing or find ways how will you get to normal after lockdown. There is plenty of time, use it wisely for the benefit of your business.
