They burned his car and gave him many threatening letters. In this case, UCLA should take responsibility for scientist safety? How can the university protect the scientist? The government should take responsibility to who conducts animal research? What they can do?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Solution:

The University named UCLA is using about 150000 rodents and 21 non human primates for their experiments. In their experiments, the scientists of UCLA University may check the safety of the products by using them first on animals rather than on humans. This may lead to the death of some animals as the products synthesized by them may be defected or lethal. This leads to the reduction of population of certain species used.

The Animal right protesters tries their best to same animals from all kind of natural as well as human calamities. When they came to know that the scientists of UCLA University misuses these animals to save thier own life, the anger shown by them should be natural. So, they attacked one of the scientist and burned his car and send him threatening letters. They only want that animals should not be misused like that as animals also have all rights to live their life with freedom.

UCLA University should now take certain action for safety of the scientist as the Animal right protesters can attack again on the scientist. So, the University should provide security to the scientist against all the attacks.

The University should provide security to the scientist. The University should ban the entry of any unknown person into the University. The University should provide a special lab to the scientist where only selected scientists are allowed. The University should send cover security with the Scientist while going outside the University.

The Government should think this case from both sides. Both Scientist and Animal Right Protesters are right at thier own places. The Scientist can't directly use the products on humans as human life is more important and animals can give appropriate effects of the products.

While, the Animal Right Protesters, who aims only to save the lives of animals want those animals to free from that area and should allow animals to live thier live with freedom. The Government should take a decision im the favour of both sides. They should ban the use of Neraly extinct and Vulnerable Animals and should allow the use of only those animals which have a huge species count

The government should punish those Animal Right Protesters who attacked the scientist and burned his car. The Government should make some laws on the use of selected animals for scientific research. This will satisfy both scientist and Animal Right Protesters.
