A university called UCLA conducts about 1300 experiments on animals which includes 150000 rodents and 21 nonhuman primates. One day, a scientist from UCLA gets attacked by Animal rights protestors. They burned his car and gave him many threatening letters. In this case, UCLA should take responsibility for scientist safety? How can the university protect the scientist? The government should take responsibility to who conducts animal research? What they can do?

Definitely UCLA should take responsibility for scientist safety because the scientist was working for the UCLA and it is their moral respoonsibility to protect the life of their researcher.
How can the university protect the scientist?
University can protect the scientist by taking help of local authorities such as local police and administartion. University can even provide private security to the scientist.
The government should take responsibility to who conducts animal research? What they can do?
Yes, the government should also take the responsibility to who conducts animal research. Government should come forward and make stricter laws and implement these laws against those elements of society who try to harm research scientists. Government action in this case is must. Government should also instruct local police to provide necessary protection to the research scientist and take action against those who harmed him.
