I need this answered within a few hours preferably for the language of english and christianity, but it could be on different language and religions diffusion throughout the world.

Cultural diffusion is the spread of a culture’s charcteristics such as activities and beliefs, from one culture to another.What causes cultural diffusion? Describe the distribution of one global language and one global religion. Identify the hearth regions for these traits and explain how they diffused to their present locations. Be sure to define the type of languages and religions which diffuse, referring to maps which illustrate these patterns. Does such diffusion cause assimilation or acculturation? What impact will the diffusion of new technologies, such as satellite tv and the internet, have upon locally based cultures?

Cultural diffusion refers to spreading of cultural aspects of one soceity/group to another one. It is like intermingling of one's culture into another because of its spreading.

Generally such spreading occurs because of movement of people from one area having different culture to another area which has another set of cultural values. Increase in interaction among people of different groups/area with different culture is another najor reason. All such practices started occuring after the advent of globalization. since then the world si seen as a common village and economies have opened themeslves to others such free movement of poeple have led increase in interactions, living to other places etc. not only this mass media channels alos play important roles like television, internet, social media etc.

Every region (generally continete or countrues) have their own set of language such as Germany has german, India has numbers of langugaes. becuas eof differences in langugages the need of common language was felt when globalization started taking place. Such as how peopl from different countries, lets say one from Arab country and another from European country, will intereact in common setting of work like MNCs or at common places of recreation like tourism etc. Thus a need of common langugaue was fel to which emphasis was given to english langugaue to make it international langugaue. Now english is the language which is acceptable at international and global level because of the reason that generally the major participating countries of globalization from early state involves those countries which speak english such as European countries, US etc. Christianity is also widespreading because of the same reasons. When poeple start meeting the people of other group they interact and share their beleifs, values etc and also their concepts and feelings realted to their religion which has led christiany grow.

Now you see that such diffusion of english labgugage and christianity is taking place souricing from countries like European countries and America to asian countries majorly. Numbers of christians has increased in these asian countries as whole and also the widespread acceptance of english langugaue is remarkable especially in India.

Such dissuion is resulting in acculturation. Now you will find youth of the accepting countries indulge in activities and practices that are major part of western culture such as acceptance of music, lifestyle patterns, taste of food, dressing styles, working and reacreation habits etc. which majorly contradicts with the traditional culture.
