Solutions

Expert Solution

  1. A major flaw in the policy analysis process is the lack of feedback.

True/ false

Answer:false

Policy Analysis is the process of analyzing available policy options that could address your problem and then comparing those options to choose the most effective, efficient, and feasible one.

Why false?

Problems related to the analysis process is categorized into 3 parts:

(1) specific steps in the policy analysis process,

(2) the overall policymaking process, and

(3) the decision paradigm.

Major flaws are associated with the overall policymaking process as policy needs to be changed depending on the current situation and needs. Most of the policy fails because of a lack of implementation of policies as it is influenced by many factors like social and economical support, corruption, etc.

Why not true.?

For sure lack of feedback is one of the flaws associated with the policy analysis process but not the major reason for failure.
