The most recent data that was available for CPI was 2017 data. According to that Rank 1 is New Zealand, Rank 2 was Denmark, Rank 3 was Finland Rank 4 Was Norway and Rank 5 was Switzerland. Last five was given to Somalia, south Sudan, Syria, Afghanistan and Venezuela.

We do see a pattern in this rankings. When we see the top rankers, they are the most developed countries in the world, with high HDI index. With technology advancement.

Were as when we see the last few rankers, they are the most exploited countries. These country have the lowest HDI ranking, and the country experience war, political unrest, civil wars and under developed.

From the CPI 2016 scores of different nations, it is concluded that developed countries rank higher in corruption level as compared to developing countries. Countries having highest CPI include Denmark, Finland, New Zealand, Sweden, and Singapore. Whereas, countries having lowest CPI includes Somalia, Afghanistan and North Korea, Myanmar, Sudan
