The cultural anthropology is the branch of anthropology which is primarily focused on the different variations of cultures among humans. Furthermore, it is the social science which tries to explore how the people understand and based on that how they react. But doing anthropology deals with what the cultural anthropologist do and how they take steps to approach the research.

The cultural anthropologist visits the area of research and lives with the people of varied cultures. Other than that, they try to read and understand their culture from inside out and based on their research they are able to convey differences and similarities in between them.

The method which is used by the anthropologists is known as Ethnography. The Ethnography is the study of the subculture, the micro-culture and immersing themselves into the following culture. They spend time with the people of that particular culture by spending time and interacting with the people around them and take notes.
