Centrifuge is a device that widely used in laboratory to separates particles from a solution. (a) Based on your knowledge about circular motion, briefly explain the working principle of the centrifuge on these separation process.   

(b) State two types of centrifuge. Describe their specification and functions.

(a) An object with a mass of 0.5 kg is put into a liquid which fill up in a container. In this process, the liquid displaced by 15.0 cm3. The density of the liquid is 900 kg m-3.

By using the knowledge that you learn about thermal properties of a matter, what would you do to reduce your cooking time? Elaborate your steps and explain why you want to do so.
