COST EFFECTIVENESS:

The clients pay for their own usage of the cloud service.there is additional cost on-premise capacity as it may or may not be used ,the client specifies the capacity that is needed for use and pays for the capacity mention before or the usage of capacity of the client user and when ever the requirement is high the client can scale on demand when they need to.

What sort of risks exist and how might those be mitigated?

• Compliance requirements limit your choices.
• Sensitive data cannot be maintained in the cloud .
• If existing setup is meeting your needs, it doesn’t demand much maintenance, scaling, and availability and the customer are not satisfied enough.
• The current technology you rely on is highly prior then you may not be able to deploy it to the cloud legally.
• When the hardware is controlled by someone else the system would lose its transparency and control during the performance of debugging and might end up with several issues.
• The system might be unavailable to use during the time of migration ,this is due to the access of the system controlled by someone else. it happens to every client
• Vendor lock-in is also known as the cloud platform . It might be difficult to move between platforms.
• Your particular application design and architecture might not completely follow distributed cloud architectures, and therefore may require some amount of modification before moving them to the cloud.
