in 19th century :

• The root of the quality assurance initiates in health care by florence nightingale as far back.
• in 1913: the american college of surgeons was founded great variations in the quality of the health care.
• In 1917&1930:the american college of surgeons developed the hospital standardization process.
• in 1992:the american society of the quality health care played role in improve the health cre quality.
• 1997:quality council of india was established as an autonomous body NABH- nationl accreditation board for hospitals and health care providers.
