The strategies in supply chain management (SCM) is very important in order to integrate the manufacturers, supplier , customers and distributor resulting in the accomplishment of production and distribution at lowest possible cost while meeting the needs of the customer but if the company is strgulling to achive success in implementing the strategies an managing the supply chian it should focus on the customzation , prodcution line , negotiable service levels , abundant channels and markets , variability in business cycles , pressure for faster innovations , tougher ,shorter product life cycles etc I will suggest following stretgies for proper implementation.
Starting with a major cause on which to work and adressing it with the employees and the CEO along togehter
managing the SCM with the whole focus on the customer
Getting on to the objective of the CEO
Controlling the tradeoff betweent service and cost
Ensuring the communication between the key stakeholders
Customization with undertsaning the risk of technology and its value
