Disfranchisement is the prevention of a pperson exercising the right to vote.it may be accomplished explictly by law or implictly through by placing unreasonable requirements on voters for registration or voting.in us the transgender individuals and poor are prevented from voting or participating in other aspects of civic life.after the reconstruction era in us they were deliberately used the laws to prevent black citizens from registering to vote and voting.james agee in his work"let us now praise famous men" discuss about the necessity to educate the poor people who were disenfranchised.we all know the power of a good education to lift lives. we must also believe that every child should have access to a quality education to ensure the opportunity to become good citizens.currently the major problem in the developing countries are that they spend more than 30% of educational funds for higher education and leaving the primary education.for the underprivilaged people in developing countries education is a high priced luxury and child labour denies sending them to schools.if the current trend continues ,millons of underprivileged children will probably nevver set a foot in classroom.A shabby foundation in primary education can overturn the lives,careers,and productivity of millions of citizens.a lot of projects and programes has been introduced to increase the enrollment of students in schools,to change the life condition of poor children through education and to empower the households of poor children economically.
