Positive aging is the way of adopting the aging process in a healthy way.Positive image of aging can give positive outcomes. Exposure to positive experiences and thoughts benefit mind and body. positive attitude of aging give high rate of recovery from illness and injury, shows better brain performance and cognitive functions , improved memory, greater sense of independence , more careful about health problems and adapting preventive measures.

People who consider aging as natural part of life have lower occurance of disease. This itself increase the life of older people.

Negative image give a negative effect to the people. Older who feels themselves as a burden leaves them to mental illness and lonliness. This increase negative emotional affect and stressful days. Stress is the key risk factor for so many diseases like cardiovascular, depression, hypertension etc. It affect both physical and mental life.

A postive image of aging can give a longer happier life as they control both mind and body ,giving  a better outcome in life.
