Reserve army of labor is referred to unemployed people in the capitalist society where large number of people are not having any work for their livelihood.

If more number of labor force are unemployed it will have a very negative effect as there will be increase in crime rate, more chances of exploitation of labor force, there will be always a riot or law and order problem in the society, capitalists try to use this situation and make people to use for their own profits. The worker class will grow impoverished, there will be poverty . Overpopulation will be seen, homelessness, debts will be increase. Thus these are the societal implication of Reserve Army of labor

The main thing that will mostly happen when unemployment is high the capitalists or the land lord try to exploit people in any way as possible like

1) making them work at low wages and make them work more

2) they try to exploit the lands of these unemployed people

3) Slavery will take place by cheating them with heavy loans
