Doctrine of forum non conveniens : When a court sends the case to another court which is more appropriate for that case then it is called Doctrine of forum non conveniens. Court can send the case to that court within which the incident happened and the witnesses reside.

Doctrine of sovereign immunity : According to this doctrine a sovereign state cannot commit a wrong according to law and is immune to civil and criminal suit.

Doctrine of act of state: According to this doctrine every sovereign state is bound to respect the independence of other sovereign states and courts cannot make judgements against another government's acts done within its own jurisdiction and territory.
