Differences between direct marketing channel and indirect marketing channel are as follows-

1. Direct marketing channel helps in recording the immediate response of the audience while Responses recording are not available in indirect marketing as it is mass media oriented.

2. Firm that use direct marketing channel require their own marketing team while firm that use indirect marketing channel use third party selling systems.

3.Direct marketing gives company more control over the process, while indirect marketing allows companies to focus on their core business and outsourcing the marketing to an expert.

4. Direct marketing channel are like Print advertisement, telephone sale calls, direct mail, email advertisement.

While Indirect marketing involves search engine optimization, sponsorship, social media influencers , referrals etc.
